Monday Ice: Limbo

This touching little video is about asylum seekers in Iceland from the seekers viewpoint.  A complex subject and quite controversial here as in my homeland, although I do think the asylum seekers are probably treated with a little more dignity here than has been done at times in Australia...I do hope so!

    I really enjoyed this video Vicki, the plight of asylum seekers interests me. I still haven't found an hour to watch the video on Laxdaela Saga, but I intend to - I have the book in my bookshelf! Thanks for posting it.

    Hi Helen and Diane, I see the plight of the asylum seekers is once again in the Australian media with such well thought out comments by the Prime Minister...I do hope it all changes for the better someday soon.
