Monday Ice: Through the Windows of Brimnes

Another book recommendation this time from Maja...and in looking for information about it I stumbled across this lovely little video. Brimnes is a cottage in Hofsós, one that I have seen many times and always thought I would love to live there as it is right on the coast and has an amazing view.  I am hoping I can borrow the book to read from a bookclub member.

  2. I never got to meet Bill, but as our state poet laureate he expressed a love for Iceland that I can only hope to share in. Thanks for the reminder of his life.

  3. Glad you're enjoying the book! Sad to hear that Bill has died, I didn't realise. His poetry is great, I'd forgotten what a good medium it could be, because it's been so long since I read or heard good poetry! I must read Through the Windows of Brimnes again. By the way I really enjoyed A Woman in the Polar Night.
