Monday Ice: Journey to the centre of the Earth
I wade through a heap of travelogue videos to find ones that have something a little special for Monday Ice...I discard many as not suitable....and at times I think I will never find any. I rather liked this one, it is gentle, with a quiet humour and I liked the music. It is by 3 young travellers, Luke Gibson, Matt Rich and Dave Healey who spent 6 days in Iceland this summer. Music: Sergio Leone Suite: Ectasy of Gold from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly, played by Yo-Yo Ma.

Excellent video. I always liked the bleak and stark "spaghetti westerns" of Sergio Leone and the music was usually memorable. I saw "The Good The Bad , and The Ugly at a drive in movie when I was sixteen. I never would have thought of the music as a background for Iceland, but some things work.
